Funding
We understand that families may need a little help. You may be eligible to access funding and childcare support for your child attending Penny Poppins.
The childcare choices website Childcare Choices | 30 Hours Childcare, Tax-Free Childcare and More | Help with Costs | GOV.UK will help you navigate what schemes are available in the UK and provide links to check your eligibility.
Penny Poppins Nursery is on the Register of Providers for the provision of free nursery education for children from two to five years. Information regarding the Early Education Funding EEF can be found on the Achieving For Children website.
Universal entitlement is available for all children aged 3 - 4 years old. This includes up to 15 hours per week. It is effective from the term following the child’s 3rd birthday and is available to all children regardless of their family circumstances. Parents will receive funding inline with the number of hours they attend the setting, up to a maximum of 15 hours per week.
Parents will be charged additional parental contributions, in order for the nursery to remain sustainable. These contributions are for the extra benefits and additional services that children receive and enjoy whilst at Penny Poppins.
